how did this happen?? – November 25

Travis just had to put up the Christmas tree today. I really wasn’t in the mood. I mean after going to late service and then out to lunch (El Fenix) I was really ready for a nap! But nooooo! We had to put up the tree now!! So we are putting the tree up and then Travis starts just draping the lights on and I’m like oh no that’s not how you do it. They have to be wrapped on each branch. He’s so sweet he goes ahead and puts the lights on the tree the way I like them. Then we get started with the ornaments (and of course there is a order to them) I’m so OCD!! I go to the back of the tree to put an ornament on the tree, and Travis starts saying “I like this ornament it’s really pretty” I’m thinking in my head, hello we just put that on didn’t you look at it then. So I come around the tree and I see him taking the ring off the tree. Next thing I know he is on one knee asking me to marry him! The answer…YES!!!! So I cried and all I could think of was how blessed we are that God would bring us together. I thanked God for the wonderful man I’m going to spend my life with.

Then the phone calls began!
