So Mom sent me this unique version of one of Rylan’s pictures. It reminds me of the pencil sketches that the photo booth does at Chuck E Cheese. I might need more culture in my life!
Rylan is beyond 20 steps more like 200! She is a walking machine. She even tries to run, but she gets too excited and falls. She is so cute with those little legs just following anyone that’s moving. Some times though it’s the poor cat and I’m sure he misses the days when she just laid there!
This year was kind of unique since my birthday was on Easter or is it Easter was on my birthday. Amber did a wonderful Easter Lunch at her new home. And I got a new red shiny bike.
Here is a few pictures of Rylan in her first Easter dress.
So Rylan is walking like crazy she is probably up to a good 20 steps at a time. Last night she was walking and she made a 90 degree turn and kept walking. She is getting very very mobile. She crawls fast! A little to fast honestly.
We have a few words mama, dada, nana, nono, baba (I’m guessing it’s bottle??) she loves to just babble. Specially at 7:00 in the morning on the way to work it’s non-stop for about 20 minutes there is about 5 minutes of happy yelling also. (I could do without the yelling!)
So Glenda and Greg (Rylan’s babysitters) told us that today she took 10 consecutive steps! We’ve yet to catch quite that many, but we were finally able to get a few on video. Check her out below.
Rylan Walking (flv, 9.5MB)
So she took 2 unassisted steps last night! We hope to get video of the event soon.
So the picture isn’t in focus, but you can see 2 of her teeth. She has 4 on the bottom and Dr. Betty says there are soon to be some up top. Here are the stats at 9 months 23lbs and 28 inches.
So Rylan seems to learn in 2’s. She learned how to clap and has been trying free standing. She lasts for about 5 seconds but she is really trying. She is wearing us out with all the pulling up and assisted walking! I’m going to blink and she will be 4!
So Na Na was tired of pushing Rylan’s hair out of her face so the cuteness is what we got!
It seems that she has decided to mark a few items off her "To Do List" She is pulling up and standing all by herself. She can stand holding on to something for a long time. The legs get wobbly and she eventually falls, but it's cute. She also has her second tooth coming through, and she also mastered the forward crawl. I guess she can mark those off her "by 8 months list!"
